So many people are still back in the dark ages when it comes to promoting, growing or marketing their business. What this means is that they are slowly but surely becoming more and more desperate about how and where to get new clients, how to increase their sales conversions and stay ahead of their debts.

If this sounds like you, the good news is that it’s not your fault!

We all know that technology and new inventions are happening at the speed of lightening, and the world of business growth and marketing is no different.  What has happened though, it that you may not have kept abreast of all the new opportunities and information that is working for others whose success is just skyrocketing.  A change in global finances is NO excuse for business to be slowing.

What is important is that you open you mind to new ideas. There are opportunities to learn more about today’s marketing world and when you have this opportunity you should be there with “all ears”.
It’s no accident, my most successful clients all have a healthy relationship with their community of clients, and are not afraid of raising their fees.
They spend time focusing on their customers’ changing wants and desires.
They realise the importance of staying relevant in a fast changing world.
Although different in many ways, the things these clients have in common are:

  1. They are either good at copwriting or they understand what good copy is and looks like.
  2. They are all great believers in their service and are happy to shamelessly promote it.
  3. They all possess a winning, abundant mindset.

These are the core skills you need to thrive in business and in sales.
If you want to get good in business and or sales, sharpen your copwriting, marketing and mindset skills. Because without doubt, this is where the money is.

What do I mean by this?

There truly are so many valuable mentoring and coaching programs available where you can get golden information on how to grow your business. Whist there is a mountain of information available for free – and believe me, I have accessed tones and tones of free stuff myself, there are times when you will come across information on a seminar, webinar or course that has a price tag attached. Small minded folks will immediately throw their hands in the air and say “I’m not paying that much for that!” If this is you, you are most likely also having difficulty getting other people to invest in their business.

It is extremely hard to convince others to invest in you, when you don’t have the experience or understanding of investing in yourself to the same degree. If you are finding it hard to attract clients, or to get even youbroken-piggybankr ideal clients to invest in you, it may be time to take a look in the mirror, and see whether or not you are investing in yourself, and to what degree.

When you are considering whether or not to invest in education of yourself, one question I always find essential to ask is “What is the cost of you not investing in this?”

You may need to dig deep to find the real answers to this. Leave me a comment. I would love to hear about times when you have decided to invest in yourself and the result.
